Frequently Asked Questions

We’re open five days a week, and there is no appointment needed if you come in during our normal tasting room hours. We do ask that you call ahead if you have a group of eight or more so that we can have staff ready to meet your party. Please note we offer “tastings” as a flight. You may choose any 4 of our wines or cider.

Please check our calendar for upcoming wine tasting classes. If you are just visiting on a non-event day we recommend trying one of our wine flights to get a feel for our products. We are always happy to put a splash of any wine (except those on our bottle only list) into a taster to help you to decide what to drink or buy.

Yes! Stone & Key Cellars can often be found at local markets and events so check our calendar to see where we will be next. We also have many of our wines and ciders available in different bars and restaurants throughout the region, HERE is a partial list, of course it will change (faster than we can update) as we add new places. We are happy to sell to everyone so be sure to ask your “local” for us by name and refer them to us if they don’t carry our juice (products).

Yes! Stone & Key Cellars does offer a small menu (cheese plate, charcuterie, almonds, olives…) in our Ambler Tasting Room. We are in the process of outfitting a functioning kitchen to offer more options but until that is complete, we allow BYO food. There are many amazing restaurants in Ambler (link to BYOB we deliver to) to choose from and our staff is happy to recommend pairings!

EVERYTHING we make is gluten free. Neither grapes, apples, nor any of the other ingredients that we use contain any gluten.

Our winery is centered around adult enjoyment of alcoholic beverages. Well-behaved children are welcome during regular hours, but they must stay with their parents and not run around or disturb other guests.

While children aren’t banned from evening events, we don’t recommend bringing them. These events are designed for adults and may include content or behavior that isn’t suitable for kids.
